We made it through our second hurdle in the Total Money Makeover today. We paid off my old Dodge Intrepid. 18 Months ago I cracked the heads in the engine. The estimate was too high to justify fixing the car at the time, so we ran out and spent too much money on a 2006 Honda Accord. BAD MOVE!
With the new car, I wasn’t driving the broken down Dodge, so the insurance was pulled and it was moved every so often. After we moved and Autumn was born, I didn’t get over to move it. When I did finally go to check on it, it was nowhere to be found. No car, no insurance… only the payment on $2,600 to hold us back.
But now its gone and that opens up $360 extra each month to go towards Bank of America. Can’t wait to get the BoA constrictor out of my life FOREVER!!!
