…we’re ready to go! We’re in and out the door… The good news is we don’t have to leave on a jet-plane. With only four weeks until the due date of September 18 and a very large belly, we decided to get ready to go. I’m is hoping to make several updates to the website during the labor process (this does not include the pushing and birthing… You’re welcome). This of course will only happen should things go relatively comfortably for Jasmine and I have some time for writing. Keep an eye here and on Facebook as we approach the day.
We’ll be delivering at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills. Even better news is the hospital is within a few minutes drive from home. I told Jas she needs to wait until a Friday afternoon around 4:00 to go into labor, but if she does that it could take an hour to get there from her work in Irvine.
The delivery rooms is HUGE with a nice bump out window and a droid that comes down out of the ceiling to deliver the baby. The recovery room, on the other hand is a bit cramped… you’ll see. A bed, basinet, and half of dad’s chair (that means it’s really small).
Although Jas wasn’t really impressed with the staff when Tanya delivered, we’ve heard nothing but the best about both the staff and the service.
