We’re going. With what has the potential to be our first date after the arrival of Autumn (the child, not the season), we will see what is, at least at this time, THE final performance of the US Tour. I can’t remember exactly when I first started listening to the original Broadway recordings of the show, but it was nearly 20 years ago I believe. I blame Chris for my love of the show. He had the recording, posters, books, etc… While I’m not sure if he enjoys the show as I do, I know he does and I thank him for turning me onto it.
Some may say I’m gay because I like musical theatre. Even more may say that I’m even more gay for being moved to tears by the power of the orchestra. However, take an interest; get wrapped up in what’s going on and see if it doesn’t hit you, too.
We’ll be seeing the show October 31 (how appropriate) at 1:00pm. I can only hope the show will be around for Autumn to see one day.
